Standard Features: Sun Ray Absorbers are made of a plurality of roll formed copper aluminum fin-tubes. The aluminum absorbing fin sections are mechanically bonded to a ½” OD seamless copper tube 360° around. All parts of the plate in direct contact with water are copper. The 4 ¼" wide fin-tubes are brazed to your choice of ¾", 1", 1 ¼" or 1 ½" copper headers. Sun Ray Absorbers are painted with durable-modified black solar absorbing polyester and are oven baked for efficiency, durability and a superior look. Sun Ray Absorbers are able to withstand a stagnation temperature of 300° F. and every absorber is checked and pressure tested at 160 P.S.I. before leaving the manufacturing facility. Recommended flow rate for water heating systems: 0.05 +/- 0.01 GPM/SQ/FT. Recommended flow rate for pool heating panels: 0.07 +/- 0.01 GPM/SQ/FT |
